TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clinton at Joint Base Andrews

Townplace Suites Clinton at Joint Base Andrews has a phenomenal front desk staff at an excellent location. However, this property is desperately in need of a renovation. The only reason this property is successful is because of the staff, which is the bases for my 4 stars. A staff this personable should not be dinged for shortcomings of the owners of this franchise location. The first room I stayed in had excessive water stains across the ceiling that coordinated with the overall outdated room. Between the off odor and the noisy longer term client next door, I did not return for months. My most recent visit, the mattress was the worse I have ever slept on at any hotel. You can see the sagging throughout the mattress and it felt even worse to sleep on. I also had a bad allergy reaction to something in the room. There were a multitude of other issues in the room that essentially led to the decision to not return before renovations are complete. After two attempts to stay at this property, the experiences were not restful with me departing worse off than when I arrived. Marriott needs to maintain a minimum standard of service until the renovations are complete.

Stayed one night. Check in was easy. Room had all the amenities has promised (microwave, fridge, stovetop, dishwasher, silverware, glasses, etc). Room was clean. Location of TV awkward but it swiveled. Will be back in 2 weeks

I had a great experience. The front desk attendance was friendly and efficient. The lobby was nice. They have a good gym, large pool area and even a sizable laundry room. My room was clean and had everything I needed. I like the bedroom being separate from the living space. There was also a stove top and oven, dishwasher and full size fridge/freezer. Plenty of parking. Decent breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

Really appreciated the professional staff that works at the front desk. They were very polite and helpful. Big shout out to Dexter; I left something in my room after I checked out, and he went out of his way to make sure I still got it. Thanks for going above and beyond! Give Dexter a raise!

Quiet property. Well maintained with attentive staff. Clean,gated property...older, but obviously well cared for. I plan to rerurn

Had an awesome experience at this hotel. Steven Simpson was so pleasant and made our stay even better. Clean rooms and all the staff was very nice. Definitely will go back again.

Long term stay couple years ago. Accommodated my Yorkie. First room had water problem but moved immediately and felt move was an upgrade

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and so were the towels and bedding. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely return.
